The turnaround in interest rates
Ronald Stöferle wrote an article for Gold Switzerland in which he outlined, that interest rates will be sooner as many believe due to the impending economic recession. He states his case through five points.
His five points, which also represent the chapters are:
- Economic activity is slowing.
- Before the pandemic economic growth was already sluggish.
- Interest rate increases are hardly digestible for the highly indebted countries.
- Debt relief through inflation is counteracted by an increase in government spending.
- Markets are already pricing in interest rate cuts.
